ADHD & Neurodivergent Health for LGBTQI+ People

At Aluna Health, we recognise that ADHD and neurodivergence intersect uniquely with gender identity, sexual orientation, and lived experience. Many LGBTQI+ people navigate:

  • Heightened stress and burnout from social stigma or marginalisation
  • Difficulty accessing gender-affirming healthcare while managing ADHD or mental health needs
  • Trauma from invalidation or discrimination, which can intensify emotional dysregulation
  • Challenges with executive functioning, focus, or organisation in unsupportive environments

Your identity matters. ADHD is not a character flaw, and your experiences are valid, worthy of recognition, and deserving of specialised support.

Culturally Safe Care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Clients

At Aluna Health, we recognise that cultural identity is central to health and wellbeing. ADHD and neurodivergence intersect uniquely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander experiences, including the impact of intergenerational trauma, systemic disadvantage, and cultural disconnection.

We are committed to providing care that is safe, respectful, and culturally informed, honouring your lived experience and community.

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse People are Welcome Here

  • Culturally responsive care for women from CALD backgrounds, with accessible communication with interpreters and culturally safe clinical support

Our Story

Aluna Health was created from a simple but powerful belief: women deserve care that sees the whole of them — body, mind, biology, hormones, identity, culture, trauma, and lived experience.

Our name, Aluna, is inspired by the Kogi concept of a living consciousness — the place where intention and creation begin. In their worldview, nothing in the physical world exists without first being held in Aluna: the great sea of thought, connection, and possibility.

We chose this name because it reflects the heart of our work.

At Aluna Health, we hold space for women to reconnect with their inner knowing, understand their bodies with clarity, and make decisions from a place of empowerment rather than overwhelm. We believe health begins in awareness — in the quiet, conscious moments where a woman recognises her needs, patterns, strengths, and story.

Our clinic brings together evidence‑based medicine, trauma‑informed care, and a deep respect for the interconnectedness of hormones, mental health, neurodiverse strengths, metabolism, and identity. We support women through ADHD, perimenopause, menopause, postpartum transitions, and mental health care — always with compassion, safety, and dignity.

Aluna Health is more than a clinic.
